Last day of the month...

and I should be sending people to collections. But I've got so many things running thru my head, I think it's best I take a little time and get some of them out.

So the holidays are over and they were great. Damion spoiled the 3 of us with iPhones and they hardly ever leave our sides. Tiff, Todd and the girls came down 2 days after Christmas and all us girls went shopping in Pigeon Forge one day. I was so excited about going, only to be let down after not really finding anything. Looking back, we probably should have just stayed in town and shopped at the mall but hey, it was fun nonetheless.

I have absolutely 0 pictures to share :( I did not get a new camera for Christmas. Yeah, yeah, I know. I have a great camera on my phone. I just don't ever think to take pictures with my phone for some reason.

Tiff is having a boy! YAY! Finally! I KNEW it. She's so moody, LoL. Not towards me, necessarily. It's kinda funny, actually. But this pregnancy has been much different than the ones with Jaidyn or Ayla so I knew something was up. I'm excited! Can't wait for him to get here in June :)

So Damion still works a lot, that hasn't changed. Some things that have changed? We're on a budget. UGH. More like tracking our spending for the month. I don't like it. He no longer builds houses in his mind to fall asleep, he just takes more Tylenol PM. Currently, he is battling a terrible toothache and needs a root canal. Dentists are expensive. He's still working 6 days a week, sometimes 7 although he was off this past Sunday and just "rested" all day, while nursing his toothache.

The girls are still keeping us busy, that will never change. Cheerleading is over for the year. Kinda sad. No more middle school games - moving on to high school...heavy sigh. She really wants to make Varsity, which I know will be an honor for her but I don't want her to. I just don't think she'll be ready as a freshman, to hang with seniors. We will see. Emma-Leigh has signed up for Chorus which starts next week and she is also doing Girl Scouts. It's always something.

Madison & Bayley are starting to get more into the boys here recently. And oh, the drama! Madison thinks I'm oblivious but I know exactly what is going on. I am SO glad those days are over for me.

I feel like there is so much I'm leaving out - the sad thing is, time is going by way too fast and I sometimes feel like we are too busy to enjoy it. 14 and 9. Unbelievable.

9 days until Christmas

and there's SO MUCH to be done.

Sometimes, I just wanna be left alone. I don't want to talk to anyone, do anything, go anywhere. I just wanna be. I usually get like that when I'm sad, disappointed, tired. As I get older, I've realized that it's harder to make friends, nevermind try to keep them. The trying part is the part I suck at. I just don't have enough time and I can't MAKE time, it's impossible.

So I guess it's official that On Time is over. Court was Wednesday. Such a weird experience. SO many people there filing bankruptcy. Since we were a corporation, we were last for the morning session so we witnessed everyone else's junk. There is no confidentiality to it at all. I'm just so used to everything being HIPAA compliant that I was shocked at how open everything was. Glad it's "over". Not technically over until February 16...let's hope everything goes as it should.

Here's my review in pictures -

Emma-Leigh had a performance at school last week. Not a Christmas performance, mainly just about North Carolina. In this picture, they are singing Carolina in my Mind and aren't actually singing, but doing sign language. This was a surprise to me only because she had been singing it around the house FOR DAYS ON END. We even had a cd of it in the car. The significance of the sign language was actually because she has a friend in her class that is deaf. So seeing them sign the song, and Natalia looking all around her watching her classmates sign with her was actually kinda heartwrenching. I loved it!

Last Friday night was the Santa/snack/craft thing at dad's work. Raflatac does such a good job with it, it's actually pretty impressive. All the kids get snacks, do crafts and then wait their turn to see Santa. Afterwards, they get to pick a gift. The gifts are great. Emma-Leigh chose a Barbie, Riley a Rapunzel barbie and Reagan a glow worm. Madison was too old for this and went out to dinner with Bayley instead....

Damion has been working A LOT at Nypro. I am not complaining. I am used to this so it doesn't bother me at all. I like the 40 hours of overtime he recieves on his check, especially this time of year. It's just kind of funny though that he's working just as much. Just goes to show you that he really is a workaholic.

We had dinner at mom and dad's twice this week. One night I got to see this sweet little thing in her ballet outfit. I love this child.

first weekend in December

and I'm bored out of my mind. I can't sleep, don't wanna eat. I cleaned my house yesterday so I can't do that, I don't feel like reading so...I'm blogging instead.

I can not believe I left this out of my last post - I'm going to be an aunt again! Tiff is pregnant :) I'm so excited for her and I'm secretly hoping for a boy. If I can't have one, she should, right? I can't wait!

Here she is at 13 weeks - sorry, Tiff. Don't kill me.

Thanksgiving Day we had lunch at Damion's mom and dad's, dinner at my mom and dad's. Here's a couple pictures of Madison & Kaleb.

EL's class made cookie jars one day last week. Here's her finished product.

Damion and I did a little bit of Christmas shopping Friday night since Madison was with Bayley and EL was at Molly's house.

My plan was to go shopping again last night but Damion didn't get home until after 9 so I ended up not going and just worked on reports for work. Exciting, huh?

So this week Tiff will turn 32 on Tuesday and EL will have her Christmas program at school that night. My Christmas party for work is on Thursday at lunch. I'm kinda disappointed that we aren't doing our traditional thing at Dr. Travis's house but at least we're doing something, I guess.

Work is going good with Amy being there. I think she really enjoys it and we work well together!

So now I'm tired of blogging - I'm just in a funk today. Let's hope it gets better.

Crisis creates opportunity....

Before we talk about the "crisis" let's do a review thru pictures, shall we?

EL loves going to Biltmore Park to walk around. So one day...about a month ago I guess, we met Robbie and Kim there and took them to Yaya's for yogurt. It was very good! I can't wait to go again.

Another day, EL, Molly & Robbie painted pumpkins.

That same night, Shawn, April, Abigail, Damion & I went to Red Lobster for dinner. EL spent the night with Molly and Madison...well, I can't remember where she was but she's never home it seems like.

October 23rd, Reagan had her very first birthday! Her party was at Inflation Station and there were a million kids there. Damion came...

One Saturday, after a football game, Cindy, Randy & I took Brody and EL to French Fryz for lunch. I think they could eat there everyday.

Halloween - our traditional thing is to go Trick or Treating in Cindy & Randy's neighborhood. So that's what we did! Brody was such a good sport this year. He has been in the past as well - one year he and EL were Troy and Gabriella from High School Musical. EL said next year she wants them to be Mr & Mrs Potato Head - I'm sure that will probably change but this year - they're Barbie & Ken. How cute, right?

and here they all are - Madison as...um, a barbie..we think; Bayley as a nerd. They had a good time!

On a Tuesday night, we had the end of year banquet thing for Pop Warner. Here's EL and Bayley.

And then...time for Madison's birthday celebration! This year Damion decided we would take her and 2 of her friends to Grove Park for dinner. Guess who she chose? Bayley & Cameron - which is only how it should've been anyway. They've only been friends since Kindergarten. Before dinner we went to the mall and bought her some clothes. Then after dinner they wanted to go see Breaking Dawn so we dropped them off at the movie theater.

The next day, lunch at Papas & Beer :)

They were exhausted..and decided to all pile up on Bayley. She didn't care. She was half asleep herself.

So yesterday was Madison's 14th birthday. Can you believe it? I truly can not. Since we celebrated over the weekend, I decided to have mom and dad, Brett, Sarah and the girls over for pizza and salad last night. Here's a couple pictures.

Riley made Madison a card with her very own hands. I love that child. She reminds me of Madison SO SO much. I wish Sarah could've seen Madison at that age so she could see it too.

Okay, so that's just about it...ya'll ready for the big news?

Look familiar?
So this is pretty easy for me to talk about now...'cause I'm pretty much over it. I've looked at all the different sides to it and have decided it's the best thing that could've happened at the time. So...On Time Construction & Remodeling, Inc. is officially over. Damion has had another job now since October 31st and the best thing is? HE GETS A PAYCHECK. He actually gets paid for his TIME instead of having to chase people down for money and then using that money to pay his employees, overhead, whatever. I'm glad. He's sad, disappointed, feels rejected, defeated..all that. And I was pretty upset for a week or so too at first. On Time was his creation. Something he had put all his blood, sweat and tears into. The economy just made it impossible for him. So I'm glad it's all over. I think he is too. Timing is everything.

Happy Thanksgiving! We have SO much to be thankful for :)

I think this describes Damion perfectly.

It's kinda quiet here at work this morning. Perfect time for me to blog. In high school, Jen and I used to give each other thought sheets. I think over time I incorporated Kim and Andrea into this too. I have lots of random thoughts and it helps to get them out of my head and put them on paper. Especially when you aren't good at speaking how you feel. I haven't done one of those in a while. And even if I did, I don't think I'd give it to any of them now. Life just gets hard, people get busy, things get complicated.

It's been almost a month...

I'm blaming it all on the fact that my camera is broken...I can't blog without pictures. And I'm too impatient to take pics with my camera then email them to myself....but I've done it so here goes~

At some point over the last month or so we went to Brett & Sarah's for a bonfire :)

And EL got an award for having the cleanest desk (This is Tiff's favorite)

Madison is still enjoying her responsibilities as cheer captain - here she is making an announcement to the crowd.

Emma-Leigh is enjoying cheering for the Bears Pop Warner team. Madison & Bayley are great coaches!

Here's Reagan at EL's game - I love how she drinks with one hand/arm.

This past weekend we went to the corn maze at the Eliada home. Madison & Bayley ended up not going with us, which was disappointing because I know they would've enjoyed it. I guess high school football games and their friends are more important:(

I really hate pictures of myself but whatever.
